JDP outdoor solutions

JDP Outdoor Solutions is a tree surgery, fencing and outdoor services business based in Pontnewynydd, Pontypool. The team works within a 15-mile radius across Pontypool, Torfaen and the surrounding valleys, and carries out its own tree work with its own team.

Tree services include tree surgery, felling, crown reduction and thinning, tree pruning and care, stump grinding and tree stump removal. Storm-damaged trees and hedges are made safe, and the team also offers hedge trimming, shaping and hedge removal. Where trees may be protected, JDP checks first before any work begins.

Fencing and gates are a major part of the business. JDP is a Birkdale DuraPost installer and also fits featheredge fencing, replaces fence panels, repairs fence posts and carries out storm damage fence repairs, with posts set deep in concrete and stepped to suit sloping valley gardens. Driveway gates are installed too.

Outside the garden fence, the team lays patios and slabs, installs paving, repoints patios and jet washes patios and driveways. Licensed garden clearance removes overgrown gardens, old hedges and green waste, with waste taken away legally under a waste carrier licence. JDP is fully insured and offers free site visits and written quotes.
