GRAHAM Secures Gateway 2 Approval for Manchester Student Accommodation

Major Redevelopment Project

GRAHAM has recently secured a significant contract worth £286 million for the redevelopment of Cambridge Halls at Manchester Metropolitan University. This ambitious project is a collaboration between Manchester Metropolitan University and Unite Students, aimed at addressing the growing need for student accommodation in the area.

New Student Accommodation

The redevelopment will provide a total of 2,302 new student bedrooms, replacing the existing facilities that date back to the 1990s. The current structures, which offered around 770 beds, are being demolished to make way for two new multi-storey buildings. These buildings will feature a mix of cluster apartments and studios, catering to diverse student needs.

• Two towers, one rising 30 storeys and the other 24 storeys high.
